Overview

Clear Lake Country Club, established in 1929, is a semi-private facility offering Golf, Dining and Fly Fishing.  Nestled in the rolling hills along the shores of the Snake River in the upper Hagerman Valley, is one of the Great American West's most unique golf courses.  CLCC has become a blend of tradition and commitment to improving the quality of the experience one finds on our grounds. In addition to some of the best golf in Idaho, Clear Lake Country Club features year-round fly fishing in our fifteen-acre spring-fed lake. The right candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the golf operation to include: Tournament Operations, Player Development, Member Engagement, Merchandising, Budgeting, etc.

Experience Required

• PGA Class A Member in good standing strongly preferred
• 3 years of Golf Shop experience as a Golf Professional is preferred
• Management or supervisory skills and experience
• Point of sale systems and cash handling  
• Experience with guest service, tournament operations, and merchandising
• Private club experience a plus
• Experience teaching lessons and clinics with adults and juniors

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing all golf operations
• Assist in tournament operations and weekly events including planning, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow up
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics
• Assist with men's, women's, and junior golf events and programs
• Manage golf car operation and practice facility
• Assist in the inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders including: ordering procedures, receiving procedures, inputting into point of sale, pricing procedures, display, and sales
• Play golf with a variety of members in competitive and non-competitive situations
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
• Assist in coordinating golf activities with other departments
