Description
OverviewPromote golf and the club's offerings while delivering excellent service. Assist guests with merchandise, keep the shop organized, share information on services and events, support inventory, and collaborate with the pro shop team for smooth operations.
Experience Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; 18+ years old required.
- Experience in customer service or retail; basic golf knowledge required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team; proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of golf merchandise and equipment a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling.
- Knowledge of the game of golf and common areas of interest.
- Excellent verbal and computer skills; multitasking ability.
- Enthusiasm for customer service and guest satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional customer service in the pro shop.
- Process transactions at the register; handle cash and POS securely; assist with end-of-day closing procedures.
- Check in players and book tee times; help with event and tournament preparation.
- Maintain an organized, attractive shop floor; manage displays and pricing.
- Track and receive inventory; coordinate with the pro shop on stock and reorders.
- Share information on club services, memberships, events, and course operations; support outside operations staff as needed.
- Assist with course operations and event coordination as directed.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Complete daily records and light administrative tasks; keep areas clean and safe.
- Stage and prepare golf cars for guest use.
- Assist with light food and beverage service as needed.
