River View Golf Course is seeking a quality focused agronomic professional for the role of Golf Course Superintendent. Qualified candidates will focus on providing best in class course conditions and leadership, mentoring, and coaching the maintenance team.

Mere minutes away from Disneyland, Anaheim, Long Beach and Irvine, River View Golf Course is an 18-hole Santa Ana golf course featuring 6,190 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70.

River View is one of Orange County's favorite golf courses for golfers of any skill level to play. Our Santa Ana golf course challenges players, while providing a relaxing, picturesque backdrop - especially during the early morning and twilight hours. River View boasts beautiful, elevated tees and greens, as well as seasonal water hazards courtesy of the Santa Ana River.

River View has a night-lit driving range with target greens and pins in distances of 10-300 yards. Our pro shop offers great rental clubs for our vacationing guests to use during their round. All in all, our goal is to provide our guests with an exceptional golf experience that exceeds expectations.

River View will be under new management by CourseCo, Inc on May 1, 2026.

The Role:

• Works in partnership with General Manager to prepare and maintain the annual golf course maintenance budget.
• Directs the maintenance and construction projects of the golf course.
• Supervises all turfgrass management, planting, and cultivation.
• Assures equipment is maintained.
• Works within budget restrictions to manage supplies and materials.
• Keeps accurate records.
• Works with vendors to manage costs and achieve budget goals.
• Careful attention to administrative tasks.
• Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed including compliance with government regulations and organizational standards.
• Manages training for all staff.
• Assures required licenses are maintained.
• Serves as the leader for Environmental Stewardship at the course.
• Manages use and application of hazardous materials within state/county regulations and manufacturers instruction.
• Provides direct leadership to the golf course maintenance team.
• Onboards and trains each new team member.
• Operates with strict adherence to our company safety program and Cal/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Two-year college degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred; with two to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.

• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Other Qualifications

• Current pesticide license preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Annual Salary: $100,000 -$110,000 D.O.E
