What you’ll do as a Gastroenterologist:
For General Gastroenterologists:
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform routine endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
- Provide patient education, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance support.
For Gastroenterologists with Advanced Skills
- Diagnose and manage complex gastrointestinal conditions using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
- Perform ERCP procedures to address disorders of the bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder.
- Utilize EUS examinations to diagnose and stage gastrointestinal tumors and manage pancreatic and biliary disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment plans.
Qualifications you’ll need:
- Graduated from an accredited Medical School
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist
- An active New York Medical License
- For Advanced GI: Subspecialty training in Advanced Endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS.
