Full-Time Police Officer Position
South Williamsport Police DepartmentThe South Williamsport Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time police officer position. This opportunity is for motivated,
professional candidates who are committed to public service and
community policing.Testing guide and application packets will be available March 4th, 2026, and may be picked up in person at the South Williamsport Police Department, 331 W. Southern Ave., South
Williamsport, PA 17702, or accessed online through the department's Facebook page. Completed application packets must be returned, along with your $25.00 processing fee, to the South Williamsport
Police Department, to the attention of Administrative Assistant Tammy Lannan, no later than March 18th, 2026, at 4:00pm. Late submissions will not be accepted. The written examination will be held on March 27th, 2026. Candidates who successfully pass the written exam will be notified with the date and time for the physical agility portion of the testing process. Interested applicants are encouraged to review all
application materials carefully and ensure deadlines are met.
