Overview

Fort Wayne Country Club is seeking a dependable, professional, service-oriented individual to join our Golf Operations team as a Full-Time Outside Operations Staff Member. This role is integral to delivering a first-class golf experience for our Members and Guests.

The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional service to Members and their Guests.

Experience Required

• Prior customer service or golf operations experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to Members and Guests
• Anticipate Member needs and proactively deliver a high level of service
• Manage daily outside operations including cart staging, golf bag handling, and driving range setup
• Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and maintained to club standards
• Safely operate golf carts and maintain equipment
• Communicate effectively with the Golf Shop and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Present a professional appearance and uphold club standards at all times
• Ability to lift and carry 25-35 lbs regularly (golf bags)
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
