Northwell Health's Department of Radiation Medicine seeks a dynamic, board-certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist with a strong interest in Women’s Health and GYN/Oncology to lead its GYN service as anAssistant or Associate Professor.
Based at our flagshipRJ Zuckerberg Cancer Center, The Center for Advanced Medicine,this pivotal role offers the opportunity to grow an established GYN clinical and brachytherapy program.You will ensure Northwell Health Cancer Institute's high standard of care through collaborative multidisciplinary disease management programs.
Our extensive department encompasses ten clinical locations across the NY metro area, equipped with six HDR after-loaders and a robust LDR program. We offer afull spectrum of advanced HDR brachytherapy, including Vaginal Cylinders, Tandem and Rings/Ovoids, and Interstitial implants.
Beyond clinical leadership, this position offers significant academic engagement, including developing research protocols, shaping resident education, building industry partnerships, and mentoring future leaders in brachytherapy.

Requirements
The Department of Radiation Medicine is one of the largest in the NY metro area treating~300patients daily. The residency program is recognized by Doximity as the second ranked program in NY State. We are recognized for having developed a novel safety culture framed around Smarter Radiation Oncology®. The candidate for this position will be one with ample training/experience in GYN brachytherapy looking for a clinical role with opportunities for clinical/brachytherapy growth, research, and education.
