Selby Jennings is partnering with a Multi-Billion-Dollar Private Investment Firm to hire a Senior Finance & Accounting Executive. This is a high-profile role within a dynamic private investment firm managing multiple entities across hedge funds, banking, real estate, and charitable foundations. The position offers direct interaction with senior leadership, including partners, CFO, general counsel, and tax experts. It is designed as a strategic step toward becoming a CFO of a large hedge fund or one of the firm's portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations for multiple domestic and offshore entities, refining processes and procedures.
• Perform complex reconciliations and transaction analysis.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting while supporting decision-making.
• Develop expertise in fund structures and assist with operational activities for investment funds and management companies.

Qualifications:

• MA/BA in Accounting with 7-10 years of experience and strong academic credentials.
• Proven operational finance leadership experience (Divisional CFO, VP Finance, or Finance Director).
• Expertise in financial reporting, controls, compliance, and systems implementation.
• Skilled in business process optimization using technology and data analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with VBA, SQL, and MS Query is a plus.
