- Faculty Instructor - Part Time, Emergency Medicine
Description
The Department of Community Health Services and Rehabilitation Science is seeking a part-time instructor for the spring term of 2026 who will teach EM 1164: EMS Special Response Situations in SHRS, Emergency Medicine program. Applicant should have strong knowledge and experience in the field of Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. Also, the Candidate must have proven experience in the investigation of the structure and function of EMS agencies, as well as in effective strategies to manage specialized events or disasters.
This is a unique position that provides classroom instruction to undergraduate students in the Emergency Medicine program. The Candidate will also potentially serve as a mentor to undergraduate students and potentially conduct related research.
Minimum qualifications is a Candidate with a BS in Emergency Medical Services or related degree. Preferred qualification is a Candidate with a BS in Emergency Medical Services or related degree, Master of Public Health or related degree, and MD. Prefer proven experience working with patients in clinical or emergency response situations.
