The Downtown Norfolk Association is seeking a community-focused, relationship-driven professional to serve as Downtown River Point District Manager. This role provides hands-on leadership for downtown Norfolk by supporting businesses, coordinating events and promotions, and working closely with property owners, community partners, and the City of Norfolk Ne

Key Responsibilities Include:

Serving as the primary liaison for downtown businesses and property owners
Coordinating downtown events, promotions, and seasonal programming
Supporting marketing, social media, and website updates for downtown initiatives
Assisting with board meetings, reporting, and administrative coordination
Building partnerships that enhance downtown vitality and visitor experience
Qualifications:

Experience in downtown management, nonprofit administration, marketing, event planning, or community engagement preferred or 2 years of experience in a similar professional environment
Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Availability for occasional evenings and weekends
Salary: Starting at $45,000- $50,000, commensurate with experience Status: Full-Time, Exempt
