Summary: Provide customer service to regional and local accounts. Work with the accounts' corporate/regional/inside offices facilitating purchasing, delivery, billing, and general inquiry. Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Field incoming customer support requests via phone and ServiceNow workflow Facilitate quotes for non-stock special orders, delivery & set-up orders, and large volume ordersAnswer product related questions and provide information from manufacturersOrder entryFacilitate returns and follow up on creditsFulfill customer requests for proof of delivery or invoice/credit copiesProvide sales support to Jan/San field and IAM teamsProvide information to SPR branches regarding various programs and their service requirements Competencies:CommunicationCustomer FocusDecision Making/JudgmentDelivers ResultsProductivityQualityTeamworkWork Environment/Safety Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Associates degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, E-mail Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
