POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Consulting Fellow at Break Blue Strategies will directly support executive leadership and senior staff in daily operations, strategic coordination, and organizational management. Fellows will gain hands-on experience supporting executive workflows, managing internal systems, assisting with client coordination, and contributing to strategic operations across political and advocacy campaigns.

This is a paid, stipend-based fellowship designed to provide professional development, mentorship, and hands-on experience in political consulting and executive operations for undergraduate students. 

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide direct administrative and operational support to executive leadership
-Assist with meeting preparation, notes, and follow-ups
-Support executive workflows and task management systems
-Coordinate internal priorities and deadlines
-Assist senior staff with project coordination and deliverables
-Support client communications and documentation
-Organize consulting materials, briefs, and internal documents
-Track client deliverables and timelines
-Support proposal development and internal planning
-Maintain internal systems, files, and documentation
-Support onboarding and internal process development
-Assist with internal reporting and organizational workflows

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES 

-Support weekly executive and consulting meetings
-Assist in preparing agendas and briefing materials
-Track weekly priorities and deliverables
-Support project planning and coordination
-Compile weekly progress updates
-Assist with internal reporting and documentation
-Participate in mentorship, training, and professional development sessions

METRICS

This is a part-time position with a quarterly stipend of $1,500, 10-15 hours per week, depending on need. We encourage candidates to seek college credit.
