JOB OPENING: Clinical Director
Organization: Jewish Community Free Clinic (JCFC), Santa Rosa, CA
Employment Type: Part-time, 10-20 hours/week, onsite, including Monday & Thursday afternoons
Compensation: $2,100–$4,300/month, based on experience and time commitment

Position Summary
The Clinical Director ensures excellence in JCFC’s clinical operations and strengthens Sonoma County’s healthcare safety net. The role oversees nearly 100 volunteers and the Service Learning Program, managing operations, staff supervision, compliance, and quality improvement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, mission-driven leader with strong organizational and clinical management skills, proficiency in Epic EHR or the ability to master it, and a calm, team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
Supervise clinical staff and volunteers; manage onboarding and training.
Maintain compliance with all regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CDPH).
Lead quality improvement, risk management, and compliance training.
Oversee supplies, equipment, medical records, and data reporting.
Coordinate patient follow-up, case management, and clinical partnerships.
Represent JCFC in community and professional settings.
Foster a positive, mission-aligned work culture.
Supervise a primary care clinical team of 2 additional staff.
Work Environment & Benefits
Primarily onsite in Santa Rosa on Mondays and Thursdays. Benefits include PTO. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to work with dozens of volunteers and to provide culturally competent and compassionate care to low-income adults and children. Requirements
Required:
Current CA licensure (FNP, RN, MD, PA, or DO).
3–5 years of clinical experience
Commitment to compassionate community healthcare.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Understanding and knowledge of regulations/quality standards.
Skill and passion to work with volunteers and students.
Epic EHR proficiency (or ability to master)
Preferred:
Experience in nonprofit or safety-net healthcare
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Background working in a free clinic environment.
