Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton is looking to add a compassionate and skilled part -time Client Service Representative to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our technical environment means you'll learn from the best and practice exceptional medicine. As part of our team, you'll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love.

Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton is a state-of-the-art hospital located in Canton, CT, just outside of Hartford. Our hospital has private exam rooms, a large treatment area, an ultrasound/radiology room, two beautiful surgery suites and an in-house laboratory and pharmacy. The hospital is open 7 days per week from 8am-12am Monday-Friday and 8am-8pm on Saturday and Sunday. We have 24-hour nursing care for our inpatients 7 days a week including holidays.

Canton is located just outside of the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area and has easy access to everything a big city has to offer. We are located halfway between New York City and Boston. Canton is picturesque with great walking trails, beautiful rivers, and ski slopes. For families, Canton offers top rated schools, great restaurants, and shopping. With an easy commute into Hartford, you can enjoy the small town feel while being close to the big city!

Client Service Representative

$18.00-22.00 hourly pay range ( based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system

Warmly greets clients

Prepares patient files

Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records

Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately

Prepares client invoices for services performed

Handles payment transactions

Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

REQUIREMENTS

Must be available to work a weekly schedule that includes Fridays and Sundays

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required

Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment

Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
