At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities! Our Card Support Lead oversees the Card Support team, responsible for all areas of the Credit Union’s debit card and credit card program. Performs necessary functions to explain, establish, and maintain credit and debit accounts and services. Total competency in all areas of Card Support. Focuses on building a dynamic and fluid team that provides day to day support as well as maintaining and monitoring the debit card and credit card program for the credit union.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the support of both debit and credit card programs including day to day activities of the card processing team. Responsible for all plastic inventory. Responsible for support to both internal and external members with information and direction regarding their account status, requests and payments. This will include, but not limited to, travel notifications, general card maintenance, file maintenance, assist with PIN requests, and plastic card orders and reorders.
Performs other functions that might be needed and assist other departments to complete tasks and other assignments outside the scope of this job description. Participates in special card-related projects as needed.
Responsible for maintaining related files and control records within the host system and the credit card system, including the corporate credit card program, making payments for the corporate care program monthly. Process the new card for new employees and new corporate credit cards as requested.
Leads staff by directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, and assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules in support of manager of the department.
Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as it relates to the card programs are completed in accordance with required timeframes.
Manage all service tickets and ensure that the team is meeting/exceeding internal and external SLAs.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
FULL TIME POSITION
Starting Range: $55,324.04 - $61,832.75
Full Range: $52,069.68 - $78,104.52

Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Credit Union and technology management experience as well as an understanding of project management disciplines as well as a strong understanding of eService delivery channels.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Other Skills
Knowledge of activities of financial institutions and the required accounting treatment and reconciliation procedures of those activities. Proficiency in computer applications and spreadsheets; ability to learn new programs. Must have the ability to work in a professional manner. Must be able to work quickly and accurately.

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
