KE Camps, the nation's largest operator of day camps at country clubs nation-wide, seeks a well-spoken, organized and fun team-player to join our full-time team during the summer months! We run over 230 day camps at private country clubs in 35 states. The Camp Management Intern will be an integral part of our full-time team, which is based at our main office in Princeton, NJ.
As a Camp Management Intern, you will be an active participant in preparing for and launching our 230+ summer camp programs nationwide, as well as managing the administrative, behind the scenes aspect of our camps during the summer season. This is an ideal position for a college student looking to gain experience in the camp and recreation field. Each Intern will be assigned to work within one of our departments and may assist with various tasks related to camper and family enrollment, staff onboarding and HR functions, marketing, state licensing, staff payroll, and communicating with our on-site camp directors. By supporting our camp locations in an administrative capacity, you will gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a summer camp and recreational organization.
Camp Management Intern Qualities

Detail-oriented, well-written and well-spoken
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A self-starter, willing to jump in to assist in any area necessary
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience, or interest in, working with children preferred, but not required
Completed at least one year of college or equivalent
Camp Management Intern Responsibilities (depending on assigned department)
Assist with preparing, sending and maintaining confidential enrollment and health records
Ensure seasonal employees are in compliance with the submission of all required forms, completion of trainings, etc.
Create promotional materials, both written and video-based, for future marketing opportunities
Support the licensing process of all camps in accordance with state regulations
Track and log weekly payroll for seasonal employees
Prepare materials for pre-camp orientation and trainings
Facilitate the packing, distribution and receipt of program supplies and materials to all camp programs
Provide support to on-site camp directors
Other administrative tasks, as needed
Our KE Camps headquarters is located in Princeton, NJ. Candidates should be available to work full time beginning in May, in accordance to their college schedule, with the ability to work through August.
