Are you fluent in Spanish and English and passionate about working with youth? Join the Rockland Council as a Prevention Educator and help deliver evidence-based substance use prevention programming throughout Rockland County.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate prevention programs in schools (training provided)
• Engage with youth, families, school staff, and community agencies
• Present at workshops, school programs, and community events
• Create and share educational materials (handouts, social media, etc.)
• Maintain program records
• Travel within Rockland County (mileage reimbursed)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Experience working with youth
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
• Confident in public speaking and delivering presentations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
