PVH is looking for a Barn Attendant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is a multi-species, multi-department hospital offering:
- Small Animal General Practice
- 24-Hour Small Animal Emergency
- Integrative Medicine Services
- Large Animal Field Service
- Equine Referral Hospital with boarded specialists in Surgery and Internal Medicine
- In-house Laboratory

With more than 20 doctors and a team of 75+ staff members, we provide professional veterinary care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Your Experience & Skills
- Basic knowledge of general sanitation principles.
- Equine and large animal handling experience is REQUIRED
Other Skills and Abilities
- Willing to learn new skills and work as directed with some supervision.
- Often requires lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of walking and/or standing for long periods.
- May be required to use strength and/or agility in walking and restraining stronger, more active animals.
Working Environment
- Outside work is required.
- Exposure to unpleasant odors and noises as well as bites, kicks, and animal wastes.
- Possible exposure to contagious diseases.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $18-20 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
