Description
Practice Opportunity on the Beautiful Coastline in Northern California
Humboldt Medical Eye Associates
Humboldt Medical Eye Associates is located on the north coast of California where you’ll find spectacular scenes of redwood trees meeting the majestic Pacific Ocean. Our practice was established more than 40 years ago and earned a great reputation in the community by providing high-quality, patient-centered compassionate and skilled ophthalmologic care, utilizing the latest technology.
As the only ophthalmology practice in a six-county region, the new associate would step into an immediately busy practice both medically and surgically. Ideally, we are seeking either a comprehensive ophthalmologist or glaucoma specialist who is looking to make a positive impact on the community and surrounding region, values a collegial environment, and is comfortable managing a wide range of pathology.
The north coast of California is known for its natural beauty and recreational activities. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, surfing, golfing, kayaking, bird-watching, or just strolling along the beach or in the old-growth redwood forests, there are abundant outdoor activities in a temperate climate. With great schools and a smaller town feel, this is an excellent area to raise a family with a high quality of life without the stressors often found in a large city. A California State University (Cal Poly Humboldt) is in town and infuses a rich variety of culture with music, and top notch fine and performing arts from all over the world. There is a variety of fine dining options, and popular farmer’s markets supplied by the numerous organic and grass-fed dairy and cattle ranches that surround the area. If you are looking to join a great practice and live in an area that allows a high quality of life, come check out Humboldt Medical Eye Associates!
Employment is with a partnership opportunity after two years. Salary and benefits are negotiable, and includes malpractice insurance coverage, health insurance coverage, professional membership fee coverages, continuing medical education allowance, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
