The team includes experienced support staff, established firm systems, and a steady pipeline of referrals and new matters.
The Role
This position is ideal for a driven attorney intrigued by an incentive program that increases their earnings as they collect more.
Leavitt Law Firm is adding an associate to carry an independent caseload of family law matters. The position involves full case management from intake through resolution, lead counsel appearances at hearings, mediations, and trial, and the opportunity to develop long-term client relationships. The associate would be supported by attorneys within the firm, providing the associate with a collective 40+ years of experience to lean on.
The firm provides the support infrastructure—experienced legal assistants, intake staff, established systems, and a consistent flow of new matters.
Associate expected to provide a premium level of client service. Strong communication skills are required.
Compensation
Base salary starts at $120,000+. The firm offers a bonus structure tied directly to attorney profitability with no cap.
Full health insurance and bar dues paid for.
The compensation model is designed for high-performing attorneys with the ability to earn in excess of $200,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload—divorce, custody, support, prenuptial agreements, post-decree matters, and estate planning.
- Regular court appearances and litigation through hearings, mediation, and trial
- Case strategy development in collaboration with Firm attorneys
- Premium client communication skills required
- Mentoring junior attorneys as the team grows
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Bar membership
- 3–6 years of litigation experience; family law preferred, though Firm will consider all strong litigators
- Experience managing cases and appearing in court independently
- Strong legal writing and attention to work product quality
- Comfortable with billing expectations and performance accountability
