Overview

The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional at Minneapolis Golf Club supports the golf operation by helping deliver a welcoming, organized, and high-quality golf experience for the membership and their guests. This role works closely with the Head Golf Professional, Lead Assistant Professional, and golf staff to assist with daily golf operations, member services, tournament support, and golf shop activities.

The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional helps uphold the traditions and service standards of Minneapolis Golf Club while creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for members and guests throughout the golf season.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in golf operations or customer service is a bonus
• Interest in pursuing a career in the golf industry preferred
• PGA PGM enrollment or interest in pursuing PGA membership is a plus

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to members and guests
• Assist with daily golf operations including starting, tee sheet support, and pace of play monitoring
• Support the execution of club tournaments and events including scorecards, cart signs, and scoring
• Assist with golf shop operations including merchandise sales and maintaining shop displays
• Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the golf shop and surrounding areas
• Assist members with tee time questions, golf shop purchases, and general club information
• Perform basic club repair and assist with custom orders when needed
• Support junior golf programs and club instructional activities when scheduled
• Work collaboratively with the golf professional staff and outside services team
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
