Overview

The Golf Club of Oklahoma is a Tom Fazio design private facility founded in 1983. The Golf Club of Oklahoma was designed for golfers who wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to experience golf as it should be. Whether you are a skilled golfer, a beginning golfer, or a future golfer, you can certainly appreciate the unique setting surrounded by the beauty of nature and untarnished by development. The course does approximately 28,000 rounds annually and is open year round.

The Club features a four bay golf performance center renovated in 2019 and features Foresight GC Quad units in each bay. We also offer 3 Cottages on property for overnight accommodations.

Experience Required

Private club experience preferred but not required.

Essential Responsibilities

This position will directly report to the Head Golf Professional and assists with running the day-to-day golf operation in accordance to the policies and procedures set forth by the club. All duties shall be performed with the highest degree of professionalism and customer service in order to exceed the expectations of our members and their guests.

• Assist in the daily management of a first class private club golf operation
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures
• Supervise an outside service staff of 15-20 employees
• Assist Head Golf Professional with tournament operations
• Assist in merchandising, inventory control and purchasing of hard and soft goods
• Instruct lessons for men, women, and Junior Program
• Conduct Club Fittings
• Play golf with a variety of members and participate in local PGA Section Events
• Act in a professional manner
• Lead golf operation with a clear vision while adhering to Club policies and procedures
