Founded in 1925, Indianwood is a historic private club located in Lake Orion, Michigan, featuring two championship golf courses (The Old Course and The New Course). The club has hosted numerous state and national championships and prides itself on competitive golf, strong member engagement, and first-class service.

Indianwood Golf & Country Club is seeking a motivated, service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PGA Associate or aspiring PGA Professional looking to grow in a premier private club environment with a strong tournament culture and active membership.

The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Golf Operations team to deliver exceptional member experiences, oversee daily golf shop operations, and support tournament execution throughout the season.

Experience Required

• Proficient in Golf Genius Tournament Management;
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems
• Tee sheet management and reporting experience
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
• Google Workspace familiarity
• Inventory management and retail reporting systems
• Handicap administration software experience (USGA)
• Social media and basic digital communication skills

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests
• Assist with daily golf shop operations (tee sheets, merchandising, POS, inventory control)
• Coordinate and execute club tournaments and events
• Assist with outside operations oversight
• Support instruction programs, clinics, and junior golf initiatives
• Enforce club policies and maintain pace of play standards
• Assist with handicap administration and league management
• Contribute to merchandising and retail sales goals
