Overview

Under the guidance of our Class A PGA Head Golf Professional, Michael Herbig, and in collaboration with our General Manager, Class A PGA and CMAA Member Morgan Gonzales, the Assistant Golf Professional will play a pivotal role in supporting daily operations and enhancing the member experience at our esteemed club. This position offers substantial learning and growth opportunities in every facet of the operation.

Experience Required

• A strong passion for golf and prior experience in the golf industry is preferred.
• 1 year of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with organizing and managing leagues is advantageous.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the golf shop, ensuring outstanding member service.
• Conduct golf lessons for members, fostering skill development across all ages.
• Engage in the sale and merchandising of golf apparel and equipment.
• Oversee and facilitate golf leagues, ensuring an enjoyable and professional atmosphere.
• Utilize Golf Genius software to efficiently organize and score events.
• Collaborate in guiding Junior Golf programs, nurturing the next generation of golfers.
• Participate in organizing and supporting charitable events on select Mondays.
• Foster excellent communication and rapport with members of all ages.
• Embrace a positive attitude through smiling, teamwork, and a proactive work ethic.
