Overview

We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team and contribute to the exceptional golf experience our members have come to expect.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or pursuing PGA Membership (preferred)
• Previous experience in a private club or high-end golf environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with POS systems (ForeTees, Jonas, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of the game of golf, tournament formats, and golf rules
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak season hours

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Golf Operations

• Greet and assist members and guests in a professional, courteous manner
• Manage daily tee sheet and coordinate play efficiently
• Assist in monitoring pace of play and enforcing club policies
• Help organize and run member tournaments and events
• Maintain a clean, organized golf shop and staging area
• Provide club regripping

Merchandising

• Assist with inventory control, receiving, tagging, and displaying merchandise
• Monitor sales and contribute to visual merchandising strategies
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and reporting

Instruction

• Assist in running junior golf programs, clinics, and camps (if needed)

Membership Service

• Build strong relationships with members to enhance their experience
• Resolve any member concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner
• Promote club activities, events, and services
