Description
*Position Summary* The Analytics Developer III - Care Management Analytics is a senior, stakeholder facing analytics role supporting Care Management teams across BSWH's Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Health Plan. This role serves as a trusted analytics consultant to Care Managers - Care Coverage's largest stakeholder group -delivering actionable insights related to quality measures, program performance, care management productivity, and Care Management program outcomes. This position plays a critical role in advancing the Care Coverage Analytics long term vision, including: * Transitioning from dashboard heavy reporting to AI enabled, agentic analytics (DaaP) * Expanding self service analytics and standardized front end environment (Pinpoint) * Leveraging enterprise Data Governance tools * Driving alignment with organizational OKRs and executive priorities This role partners closely with Care Management leaders to shape analytical strategy, evaluate requests, and determine the most appropriate delivery path - whether through existing analytics products, agentic models, or advanced descriptive or predictive analyses. *Key Responsibilities* *Stakeholder Partnership & Consulting* * Serve as a primary analytics partner to Care Management stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. * Communicate trends, performance gaps, and opportunities related to quality measures, care management programs, and population health outcomes. * Build strong, trusted relationships with clinical, operational, and analytics leaders across the organization. * Influence stakeholders by challenging assumptions and recommending data driven next steps aligned with business and clinical priorities. *Analytics Strategy & Intake Management* * Review and triage analytics requests submitted through a standardized intake process. * Determine whether requests can be: * Self served via AI agentic models * Fulfilled through existing dashboards or standardized products * Addressed via custom descriptive, diagnostic, or predictive analyses * Partner with leadership to ensure requests align with departmental OKRs and executive prioritization decisions. * Collaborate with Product Owners and leadership to translate prioritized work into sprint ready analytics deliverables. *Agile Delivery & Product Thinking* * Our team operates within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in monthly sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. * Maintain visibility into analytics work through the team's Agile board and delivery metrics. * Contribute to the evolution of analytics products, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across Care Coverage Analytics. *Collaboration & Team Leadership* * Collaborate closely with: * Analytics across the organization (Analytics & Intelligence) * Vertical and horizontal analytics teams across Care Coverage including Data Science, Medical Trend, Quality Analytics, Care, Program Analytics, and Operational Analytics and Domain Support. * Provide informal mentorship and guidance to other analytics developers. * Contribute to shaping the structure, focus, and operating model of the Care Management Analytics team. *Innovation & Continuous Improvement* * Partner with Analytics and Care Coverage leadership to explore emerging opportunities related to AI, automation, and healthcare analytics innovation. * Support self directed analyses and proactive insights not explicitly requested by the business. * Stay current on healthcare analytics trends, value based care models, and evolving data technologies. *What We Offer* * A senior, high impact analytics role with direct exposure to Care Management leadership. * Opportunity to help shape the future of Care Management Analytics at BSWH. * A collaborative, non competitive team culture that values curiosity, learning, and mutual growth. * Dedicated professional development support, including: * DataCamp licenses for technical and administrative skill development * Conference attendance and external learning opportunities * Support for self directed, exploratory analytics * Flexible work environment with strong support for remote work and optional hybrid collaboration. * The chance to build deep clinical and analytical expertise at Texas' largest non profit healthcare system. *Our Team Culture* The Care Management Analytics team is small, nimble, and growing. We are not competitive -but we do push each other to think bigger, learn continuously, and deliver meaningful impact for the patients and communities we serve. *Location* Remote (Hybrid preferred for candidates local to DFW for collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and career development opportunities.) *Preferred Qualifications* * Strong experience communicating analytical insights to non technical and clinical stakeholders. * Proven ability to influence, manage, and align diverse stakeholder groups. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with structured intake and prioritization processes. * Solid understanding of healthcare data, including claims, quality measures, care management, and population health concepts. * Experience in an ACO, Health Plan, or value based care environment or with Care Management. * Familiarity with AI enabled analytics, agentic models, or advanced self service analytics platforms. * Experience working with enterprise Data Governance frameworks and standardized analytics products. * Proficiency in SQL and modern analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); experience guiding others rather than solely building dashboards. * Background in consulting, analytics product management, or business analytics partnerships. *Minimum Qualifications* * EDUCATION - Bachelor's (Preferably in Analytics, Data Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related field) or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification * EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience (Preferably progressive experience in analytics, healthcare analytics, or a related consulting style role).
