- Aeronautics Communications Coordinator
Description
The Aeronautics Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all internal and external communications and outreach efforts specific to the Office of Aeronautics, in close collaboration with the MnDOT Communications Office. The role will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Aeronautics Strategic Communications Plan. This position serves as the primary liaison for communications with internal and external partners, including MnDOT divisions, other state agencies, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), airport sponsors and staff, consultants, aviation stakeholders, and the public.

Requirements
Three years of professional communications experience demonstrating:
- Experience managing strategic communications plans and outreach initiatives, and
- Experience in creating and implementing digital media campaigns, including managing social media platforms and maintaining accessibility standards (e.g., ADA compliance), and
- Experience interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements across multiple communication media platforms, and
- Experience engaging with diverse communities or audiences to improve access to information or services.
Note: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism or a closely related field substitutes for one year of professional communications experience.
