Geisinger Primary Care South WilkesBarre is seeking a boardcertified Family Medicine physician to join our thriving, residencybased practice as Core Faculty. As the clinical home of the Kistler Family Medicine Residency Program, our clinic offers a unique opportunity to blend patient care, teaching, and mentorship in a supportive academic environment.
Ideal candidates bring at least three years of clinical experience and a passion for educating residents, advancing community health, and making a lasting impact on the next generation of family physicians—all in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach, mentor, and inspire family medicine residents
- Provide full-spectrum care in a supportive, innovative environment
- Collaborate on curriculum development and program leadership
- Participate in resident recruitment, didactic instruction, and simulation training
- Engage in program administration and continuous improvement

Requirements
Applicants must have at least three years of clinical experience and be American Boards of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Boards of Family Medicine (AOBFM) board certified. Prior teaching experience (residents and/or students) is preferred.
